Alright, i'd like to put a few things up to vote.

First off, i want to know how we decide who wins the contests. A) I can judge them all, B) we can rotate through the members, each taking a turn judging, or C) we can vote on each one.

Second, wants to join the group. I'm not sure, so im leaving it up to you all. A) is yes and B) is no.

For contests, we'll seperate the poetry and the visual art. And I'll announce the first ones once we get 10-15 people.

I think it's important that people realize that surrealism goes beyond random imagery and awkward scenes. I also think that few people realize that surrealism is not restricted to visual art; in fact, it was originally exclusively a literary movement, and many believe that it's ideals could not be translated into visual art. Anyway, so that's the purpose of this group, to showcase truly good and thoughtful surrealist artwork. And to have fun. Maybe have contests or something? Beats me.
